Did you know you can pay with your YU-card at on-campus eateries? Check out York’s Dining Directory to find all the places you can use your card, including Aroma Espresso Bar – one of my favourite cafés.
Pro tip: Download the York University Mobile Ordering app to order on the go. Once you log in with Passport York, your YU-card Flex and Meal Plan dollars will be automatically linked.
Scholar Dollars
Pay with your YU-card at the York University Bookstore for the best deals! Get a 5 per cent reward in Scholar Dollars for every purchase you make with a YU-card. One Scholar Dollar is equal to $1. You can use your Scholar Dollars to purchase anything at the bookstore!
Pro tip: I love collecting Scholar Dollars to invest in York merch and stationery!

You can also use your YU-card at York Lanes Dental and the Salon Concepts Spa, for Printing and Photocopying services at York Libraries and at all vending machines on campus. The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) student membership
Do you love art? If you are 18 years or older, you can enjoy all the benefits of an Individual Membership at the AGO for less with your YU-card.
Student Price Card (SPC)
Now shopping can be more fun! The SPC card offers online and in-store discounts for many major retailers, including H&M, Adidas, Nike, Apple, Dell and more.
International Student Identity Card (ISIC)
The International Student Identity Card is an internationally accepted virtual ID card that you can use to prove your student status and access over 150,000 student discounts on travel, culture, entertainment, food, shopping and more.
The ISIC for full-time students costs $20, plus $5 for a physical card. It is valid for one year. To sign up, you must have proof of your full-time student status and proof of identity.
