There are a variety of awe-inspiring museums, musicals, art exhibits and shows to explore all around the world, but it’s difficult (and expensive!) to go out and explore them all yourself, not to mention impossible during this COVID-19 pandemic. Thankfully, with the technology we have nowadays you can visit an endless number of places virtually from the comfort of your home! In this #YUBlog post, we will show you some options for exploring and experiencing the international world of the arts while in isolation.

In our opinion, this is one of the most creative and aesthetically pleasing website for a virtual museum tour out there, the British Museum has an interactive map for you to choose which period you want to see and from which part of the world.

The world’s most famous museum is also available to be toured online. See the Mona Lisa without the crowds and learn about everything from Egyptian antiquities to the remains of the Louvre’s moat.

Van Gogh Museum – Amsterdam, Netherlands

With the world’s largest collection of Vincent van Gogh’s artworks, the Van Gogh Museum will blow you away with a virtual tour of over 200 paintings, 500 drawings and 750 letters.

National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea – Seoul, South Korea
