York University is hosting Fall Campus Day at the Keele campus this Saturday, November 17, from 10am to 3pm. We invite you to come by this weekend to get to know us and explore our progressive and welcoming community. Our students, staff and professors will show you everything York has to offer and help you make the right choice about university study.

Thinking you want to attend? Register here!

Fall Campus Day is a great opportunity to get first-hand experience attending a university, even if it is just for a day. You’ll learn about courses and programs, residence life (if you are thinking about living on campus), athletics, getting involved in student life and you’ll meet potential classmates when you visit your Faculty Zone! Some of the Fall Campus Day main events will run at different times throughout the day to make sure that you have an opportunity to attend whatever sessions pique your interest. Just like your degree and study options, your day’s schedule is up to you!

The first event of the day is called “Coffee! Coffee! Coffee!” and will be held at the Central Square East Bear Pit from 9:30am to 1pm. A wise first choice event I’d recommend for all students, since it’ll probably replace water for the next four years and you’ll need your energy for the action-packed day ahead! Campus Walking Tours – a must-do for all visitors – depart every 20 minutes from the Tours table in Vari Hall from 10am to 2pm and each lasts 40 minutes. You can find the times and locations of all events and a map detailing each building location on the Fall Campus Day Agenda website.

There will also be sessions hosted by each Faculty, allowing students to experience specific York U programs. Can’t decide between dance and design? Biology or physics? Select from your list and create your own agenda of saved events so you don’t miss out on anything! They’re all generally an hour long and explain what you’ll be learning and doing during your undergraduate studies, both day-to-day and throughout your studies at York. It’s still all up to you, how jam-packed or relaxed you want your schedule to be.

You’ll also have the opportunity to attend a session about admission requirements and the application process, get the inside scoop on how to create your own experiential education, explore career options and visit the Student Life Zone where you’ll learn about life beyond the classroom, including finances, residences and our 300+ clubs! What’s not to like?

Most of all you’ll get to see, hear and get a feel for the community at York. We encourage you to ask current students who have already experienced the first couple of years of your program about their experience, as well as professors and knowledgeable staff who have many success tips to share.

Our Glendon Campus is hosting Fall Campus Day on Sunday, September 18 from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm!

We don’t want you to simply take our word for it. Come see for yourself!

Make sure you register on the Fall Campus Day website.

We can’t wait to meet you on November 17!
