Have you ever thought of doing a fun summer school course, but decided not to because of cost? Well, here’s a fascinating secret: York offers free courses where the credits are worth zero, but the fun is 100+!
Since the S2 summer term begins June 19, here is a list of the available courses:
- Swimming
- Yoga
- Pilates
- Modern practical self-defense
- Strength training
- Dance in movies and videos of popular culture,
- Track and field
- Emergency care
These courses are offered through the Faculty of Health’s Kinesiology & Health Science program. They’re affectionately known as PKINS – Kinesiology & Health Science Practice.
4 Steps to Finding Summer Courses:
Step 1: Go to the York Courses website.
Step 2: Go to Search Current Courses and click Subject.
Step 3: Choose Summer 2017 and PKIN – Kinesiology & Health Science Practice (HH).
Step 4: Look through the Current Courses list and choose your summer activity!
