Best Places to Relax on Campus

York Stomping Grounds

Depending on  your class and work schedule, there will probably be days where you don’t have time to go home between classes (especially if you are a commuter!). Killing time between classes can be a pain if you don’t have a game plan of where you are going to go and what you are going to do. Finding a place where you can chill out is so important to keep you at your best for when class does start!

1. The Student Centre – specifically the balcony on the second floor. The second floor is ideal as it is a little bit more out of the way than the main floor. It is perfect if you want to hang out with friends, and food is easily accessible.

2. Scott Library – If you need a bit of quiet time, the library is perfect. With floors ranging from a moderate volume to dead silent you can find a floor that fits your needs. There are many rooms with comfortable chairs and couches so you can really get comfortable. And this way you can be very productive and finish off some readings in between classes.

3. Second Cup – This coffee shop is a bit louder than the library but still pretty relaxed. There are tables as well as more comfortable seating areas and caffeine and brownies are readily available.

4. College Complex – Go hang out at your colleges buildings. Most have a lounge and a cafeteria, and you are bound to see people who are in the same program as you!

Having some time relax before continuing on with your busy day is so important! Has anybody else found any great spots to hang out in?
