While you sit at home waiting for your much anticipated offer of admission, there are some steps you can take to be proactive and get a head start on your future life at York.
The Student Financial Profile (SPF) is an online application that allows students to apply for campus employment opportunities and various scholarships, bursaries and financial awards. Students who have applied to York but have yet to receive an offer can still apply for financial awards by filling out the Entrance Student Financial Profile. Students must apply by the May 1, 2013 deadline in order to be eligible for financial awards.
Accessed through your MyFile account, the Entrance Student Financial Profile allows York applicants to browse and apply for various financial awards. Applicants must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person, and must demonstrate financial need in order to be eligible. All direct-entry undergraduate students are eligible for the profile, with the exception of Collaborative Nursing students.
Once you have accepted your offer, enrolled in courses and have paid your enrolment deposit, you may then proceed to apply for in-course awards, bursaries and on-campus employment eligibility through the Student Financial Profile.
