Are you considering going to Glendon? A great way to get a sense of what our bilingual campus is all about is to attend their Experience Glendon event happening in just a couple weeks on Sunday, March 3. It is set up as an open house, and it is an easy way to ask questions, learn about student life, and actually see and experience what the school is like.
Events occur throughout the day from about 10AM to 2:30PM. There is a continental breakfast that includes coffee and croissants. Then there are 3 different information sessions that occur multiple times throughout the day. Student ambassadors will discuss Preparing for a Fabulous First Year, Kick-Start Your Career, and Set Yourself Apart: International Opportunities and Languages during these sessions.
Campus tours occur throughout the day and last about 30 minutes. Prime locations like the library, dining hall and classrooms are some of the things you will see on the tour. Tours are a good time to chat with the student ambassadors who are leading the tours.
There is a Residence Open House where you can see a residence room along with the lounge space. You will also learn about the different residence activities that occur throughout the year and about support services that are offered to students. This is a time that you can talk to students who are currently living on campus to get the inside scoop.
If you are able to make it to Toronto to attend Experience Glendon, I highly recommend it! It makes sense to get as much information as you can before accepting an offer from a university. It is even more important to see the campus and decide if you can imagine yourself learning there for the next four years. And talking to students is an invaluable way to get the information that can’t be found in the pamphlets or online.
